CARDINAL TECH RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY:
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of purchase with original receipt, and all original packaging intact. No refunds or exchanges will be accepted after 30 days of purchase. If a return is requested outside of these terms, manager approval is required and there will be a 25% restocking fee.
Defective Products outside of this policy but still within manufacturer warranties may be assessed at the register and employees may assist customers in fulfilling an RMA with a manufacturer.
Custom ordered items are non-returnable and cannot be cancelled. Any item special ordered will be automatically charged to student account upon arrival if not told otherwise. Any custom order not picked up after one week will be charged to student account. Items in this category include, but are not limited to custom configured computers, video games or ink/toner.
Unopened computer hardware and accessory products may be returned up to 30 days from the date of sale with receipt. Defective technology or computer hardware will be exchanged for the same model within 30 days of receipt of the computer or accessory. When the same model is not available, Cardinal Tech will have the defective product fixed at Cardinal Tech's expense.
After 30 days of purchase, customers are required to go through the manufacturer for defective product replacements. 25% restocking fees will be applied to returned items that do not meet these criteria.
Cardinal Tech does not accept any returns on ink or toner.
Unworn clothing items with tags still attached are eligible for return within the first 30 days of ownership. After 30 days, clothing may be exchanged at the manager's discretion if the product remains available on the shelf. If the item is now on the sale rack, only the sale price will be refunded. Any clothing items returned to the store without tags will be issued a 25% restocking fee. Clothing that has been worn is non-returnable.
Custom configure-to-order (CTO) computers from Apple are NOT eligible for return or price protection privileges. Apple configure-to-order computers received by Cardinal Tech and subsequently canceled or declined by the customer will be assessed a 25% cancellation fee.
