The original sales receipt and original, unopened packaging must accompany all returns. Exchanges are accepted within 30 days on defective items. No refunds or exchanges after 30 days from the date of sale. If a return is requested outside of these terms, manager approval is required and there will be a 25% restocking fee.
Custom ordered items are non returnable. Any item special ordered will be automatically charged to your student account upon arrival if not told otherwise. Any custom order not picked up after one week will be charged to your student account regardless. Items in this category include, but are not limited to: video games, ink/toner, and custom configured computers.
Unopened computer hardware and accessory products may be returned up to 30 days from the date of sale. Exchanges are accepted on opened, defective computers and computer hardware within the first 30 days of ownership. 25% restocking fees will be applied to non-defective returned items within 30 days.
Cardinal Tech does not accept any returns on ink or toner. Sales associates will assist customers in store to find the correct ink for their printer.
Unworn clothing with tags are eligible for return within the first 30 days of ownership. After 30 days clothing may be exchanged at the manager's discretion. Any clothing items returned to the store without tags will be issued a 25% restocking fee. Clothing that has been worn is non-returnable.
Custom configure-to-order (CTO) computers from Apple are NOT* eligible for stock balance, return, or price protection privileges. Apple configure-to-order systems (part numbers beginning with Z) received by Cardinal Tech and subsequently cancelled or declined by the customer will be assessed a 25% cancellation fee.
*some restrictions or exceptions may be applicable if there is another customer awaiting a similar product.
No refunds on service parts. Defective service parts will be exchanged for a like part only up to 30 days from the date of purchase. After 30 days from the date of purchase, defective service parts will be handled in accordance with the manufacturer's warranty.
We are not responsible for any data loss. We will do out best to recover as much as possible, but there are many circumstances where it is out of our hands. In those cases we will still provide recommendations on alternative data recovery procedures offered by other companies. This, however, can be costly.
